Underbelly tonight at Brew Ha Ha!
Cincinnati’s strangest comedy show will hold a free “greatest hits” performance tonight at Sawyer Point for Cincy Brew Ha Ha, a gigantic outdoor comedy and beer festival featuring many of Comedy Central’s biggest stars. Visit “The Other Stage” tonight at 6:15 p.m. for stand-up performances by Underbelly founder Mike Cody (That’s me!) and rising local comic Sam Evans, followed by Underbelly at 6:40.
Brew Ha Ha’s mainstage performers include Comedy Central favorites John Evans, Mike Lukas, Josh Sneed, Jack Freeman (aka Underbelly special guest Drew Hastings), Chad Daniels, Nick Griffin, and the incomparable Tim Wilson. Did we mention that one of the best comedy shows that Cincinnati has ever seen will be absolutely FREE? If you don’t go, you’re friggin’ bonkers.
Come spend an evening under the stars with Underbelly and one of the best comedy lineups you’re likely to ever see.

“Best of Underbelly” performance on 4/28 at Go Bananas Comedy Club
All apologies for the short notice, but we’re having a 20 minute “Best of Underbelly” performance on Wednesday, April 28th at Go Bananas Comedy Club in Montgomery, OH. We’re going to be performing a few of our favorite sketches in order to get a high-quality DVD copy for a Friar’s Club sketch competition. The winning team (which we sincerely hope will be us) receives $10K to make their own feature film.
Tickets for the show are only $5 and will also include a full evening of stand-up comedy at the area’s best club open mic. The Go Bananas Pro-Am starts at 8 p.m. Reservations are suggested, as the show often sells out.
Underbelly celebrates its first birthday on Tuesday, May 8th!
That’s right, folks: Underbelly is turning one. Kind of makes you feel old, doesn’t it? On Tuesday, May 4th at The Southgate House in Newport, KY, all your favorite cast members (and a few new faces from Dayton and Columbus) will be on hand to celebrate.
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, our birthday shindig will include–get this–free Underbelly gift bags for the first 50 people who arrive. Maybe they’ll contain candy. Maybe they’ll contain toys. Maybe they’ll contain remnants of Meat’s shredded clothing from that period of time where every show ended with him half-naked. The point is that you need to be one of the first 50 people there in order to get one.

Vote Ryan Singer for CMT’s “Next Big Comic!”
Despite his nefarious plans to take over Underbelly and turn it into… Well… To be honest, I have no idea what Ryan Singer wants Underbelly wants to become (and from the look of things, neither does he)… You should still take a few moments out of your day to vote for Ryan in CMT’s “Next Big Comic” competition. Truly one of the best comedians I know who has yet to appear on national television, this is a huge chance for Ryan to get the recognition he deserves.
Hopefully, if he wins the contest, he can put aside his plans to rule Underbelly with an iron fist… or whatever it is he wants to do with it…
